In Response To: FanFest Memories... (SketchFactor) People with greater eloquence than I have written great testimonials about the fanfest. However, I would like to point out some of the stuff that just made me plain giggle. 1. Who was the guy in the trivia contest who was eliminated, tore up his answer cards, screamed, and stormed off stage? 2. Jen Taylor - it's Minotaur NOT MINE-O-TAR ; also "km" means kilometer ; and oh yeah, that was me who asked you to say "wildcat destabilization" (i saw you turn around and smirk) 3. Conker - Halo but with teddy bears and cute squirrels! The alleged game of choice by Bungie at E3. 4. The lady that was nearly mauled when she brought out bottled water (after a good dry spell) 5. Trying to get Oso to re-boot the Counter-Strike machines (they were on, but stuck in some kind of Title only mode). If only they served beer at the fest... 6. Trying to get Skeletor to push the eject button on the XBox containing the Halo 2 demo that Jaime was using in the theater. It was right there, Skel, right there. 7. Wondering to myself how long the guy who dressed up as the Master Chief was going to walk around with all that wood-armor strapped to his body. 8. Wondering if our car was still parked in the lot a few blocks away as we walked out a bit after 11:30pm. All in all, good stuff. Most excellent. | |
