I hate the slew of Megg-related posts too, but I need to get
this off my chest. So read and be learned.
Ok, there is only one level where, when you die, or
are about to die, there is something you see other than your body
dying. Try and think of all the levels and all
the times when you die, there is one particular level and
one particular chapter of that level where, when you
die, a certain way, something very different happens.

If youre not, it's "The Maw: warning:hitchhikers may be
escaping convicts." If time runs out, you "die"
but not in the typical sense. The timer hits zero and you get
to see the cutscene of the POA blowing up. I think this is the
only place the MEGG could be since it is the only time in the
game where you die without "dying" in the typical sense.
Yes, you will be consumed in the blast, but it is not like a
death from firefight, or falling, or a vehicle running you over,
or even a fire death. The experience is uniquely it's own and
therefore it stands out greatly in my mind.
My theory is that you have to be somewhere in that final chapter
when the clock hits zero and the Megg will be show to us via a
new cutscene. I've tried the food nipple grunt and that's
not it. I've tried the "rex" room and thats not it.
I've tried standing exactly 343 meters away from the longsword
and that is not it. The one thing that really stands out in my
mind, it when the nav-point shows the number 777.0 or 777.7
Why haven't i tried these spots you ask? because Bungie cleverly
put these spots where the incline was so great a hog could not
rest on them. Neither can the MC. 772 and 781 are level enough
to stand still, but Bungie for some reason made the area between
774 and 779 too steep to stand on without sliding. The only way
to get past this incline is travelling in the hog accelerating
all the while. i tried to get it to be close to 777 but it is
very difficult to get it even within .5 meters since the hog slides
so much. I am considering blasting a turret there or something
(maybe a banshee?) but i just dont know. Why would Bungie make
the 777 mark so hard to stand on? It might mean nothing, it might
mean everything.
Regardless of the 777 thing, the last part of the game, where
we are given a hog to get the hell out, has to be where the Megg
is. Pain and Devotion are directly related to the Megg in an unknown
way. Mathematic births gore can be interpreted in so many ways
it's not funny. "Carnage before" could apply to the whole game.
However it is arguable that the Maw has quite a bit of carnage.

The maw's very name means something terrible and full of carnage.
Mathematics births gore could mean 343 GS creates mass death.
It could mean 100,000,000 degrees of wildcat destabilization
makes for a messy day. It could be a hint to the level it is
in. 3+4+3=10 10=The Maw=carnage. Maybe i'm crazy, but i'd bet
the Megg is in the maw, during the driving section.
People have spent so long trying to get to the bottom of Halo
that I sincerely doubt that it is simply painted on the wall somewhere.
Oh and this might just be an elaborate April Fools Joke. Nobody's
pointed out yet, that when Pallor gave the first hints in that
extremely long post a while ago, she gave us the "Before
you die, you see the Megg." Well, that was obviously a spin
of the Ring's tagline, as many have mentioned. Also, some people
have menthioned that the ring takes 7 days to "be seen".
I got out my handy dandy calculator and added 7 days to the date
of her post, yep you guessed it, April Fools. There is a lot pointing
to this being real, and a lot pointing to this being a hoax.
We'll see on Tuesday i guess.
