| That Mr Soell... | |

Does anyone remember how many Weekly Halo Updates there were? I seem to recall it was an even 52. With the game slated for a November release, I'd say there's not much chance of us getting that many this time around, now is there? Well by golly, this skylarking has gone on far too long. There's nothing for it now but to write a rather cranky forum post. Just what can Mr Soell possibly be doing that is more important than providing weekly updates to the adoring, dedicated, waiting-for-Halo 2-is-like-having-ants-crawling-on-my-skin masses? We aren't sitting out here on our couches eating cake, Mr Soell. The knowledge that Halo 2 is currently being built and you are too self-centred to share even the vaguest of tidbits about it makes me suspect that maybe you were the sort of child who didn't like to share his toys as a youngster. Probably hoarded your Easter eggs until everyone else had eaten theirs just so you could eat yours in front of them, didnt you? Outrageous. As for this ridiculous claim that Bungie has stated they dont want any info released yet - pah! I scoff at this. Any publicity is good publicity, especially in the video game industry *cough* and as any retail or customer-facing employee will confirm THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT. Trying to palm his silence off on Bungie, I'm sure you all agree, merely reinforces the I'm-not-sharing-nyahh-nyah-nyahness of it all. Big bad Bungie's fault, is it? Of course it is. The credits at the end of Halo stated quite clearly that Mr Soell was responsible for "Damage and Spin". Now, unless this was referring to some kind of in-house pinata party I do believe that it is thus his appointed task, his duty, to keep the masses at bay with enigmatic, quizzical snippets of satiating information about the production of the sequel. Is it unreasonable of us to expect a man to do his job? No, I hear you cry, it most certainly isnt. As they say in the classics; I rest my case. The ball is in your court, Mr Soell.
And nobody wants that..
