Project Phoenix canned?

This bit of news is straight from a very reliable source within Bungie. So, no link for now, but I'm pretty sure an official release is going to be out in a couple of days.

Well, I guess they've been spending all the resources on Halo2, which in a sense is a good thing.

Ok, last time about where I heard it from.

I'm at my friend's, and he is chatting with his pal who works at Bungie via instant messaging. The guy who works at Bungie told him just now (and thus indirectly to me) that they finally pulled the plug on Project Phoenix coz it was going nowhere and Marty had had enough.

So, to me personally, that's rather reliable, coz he WORKS there and would know these things before they even give out the official release.

But as I said before, you can believe it, or not, just thought I'd at least stir the waters.

I don't feel like copying the rest, is it true? Most of the TXB people don't seem to believe him.
