In Response To: Re: add to the madness (Djof) Personally, I was hoping for a part of the game prior to that which was shown in the trailer that would explain a little of how the Master Chief "got home" and was outfitted with the new suit, etc, etc. ...Of course, a book would be great fun as well! Maybe we could get to see his face as Bungie's creator's saw it...? (Heck, John's features were described in the book, if I remember correctly...why can't his face be shown in the game? Maybe it has something to do with the fact that we have an imagination and Bungie doesn't want to disappoint our own individual thoughts of what John could look like? ;) I am also hoping to see "normal" un-engineered humans wearing powered-down versions of the Mark VI armor, shields and all, made to augment them without being so fast as to "break" them. I never really understood why this couldn't/wasn't be done in the first place... Think how much deadlier the Marines would be if they had types of Armor better than what they currently use. Time constraints, maybe? Has anyone here ever read Starship Troopers? Thoughts? Anything to add? -Alexis | |
