If it's not just a BG or MP thing you might be able to : figure out what that range is using nav points or possibly the Sniper : Rifle. : I wonder if any of the other weapons have a range limit too, like the Plasma : Pistol. now it makes sense.. having range limits is an easy way for the system to clean up loose projectiles. i used to think (before reading this thread) that i was hitting the 'ceiling' of the map (Silent Cart.) when my rockets exploded after shooting them straight up in the air. as for the sniper/assault rifles & pistol, i doubt those even have projectiles. -r
