Contains spoiler ... : : : At the end cortana says: "Just dust and echo's, we're all thats : left" : some people on another board, think she means there are echo's (E419) flying : around : it's not very clear, but if you think about it.. they can be right.. : mc asks if there's anyone left, cortana scans and says just dust and echo's, : we're all that's left. we can mean cortana, mc and (some)echo's and : 343GS : and seeing as cortana wanted foe hammer to pick us up and fly away from halo, : it means they can fly in space : what do you think? i'm beginning to doubt, because cortana didn't mention : 343GS made it off of halo either... I pretty much agree with everyone else, "dust and echoes" is just a saying. And anyway, if she did mean that kind of "echo's" then there are two possibilities: wither she said "dust and Echo's" or "dust and Echoes". The first one would be a possesive form of Echo, meaning E419's ______. Echo's what? This wouldn't make sense: why wouldn't Cortana finish her sentence? And the second possibility: Echoes as in multiple Echoes as in multiple dropships. However, the only "Echo" that we encounter in the game is E419. So, there wouldn't be multiple "Echoes". If she meant multiple pelicans, why didn't cortana simply say "pelicans" or "dropships"? I don't know, but it just wouldn't be as dramatic and cool if anything else besides the three (MC, cortana and 343 GS) survived the blast... it would ruin an otherwise perfet ending to a perfect game :(
