No, I think that it makes sense to say that MC and Cortana are the only ones left. Besides, it makes the ending more.......different.

On another note......what's gonna happen on Halo 2 again? If MC and Cortana are the last, are they gonna fight alone against the new enemy? Are they going to team up with the Covenant to stop the new threat? Will Cortana find out how to take MC's DNA and make more humans?

I'm rambling again....oh well....just my thoughts.
