I don't understand why those other guys are giving you such crap. I've been doing the same thing you have and it seems to be working out really well. The string that I found that marks the NPC's stats like health and vigor and appetite, I even think I found the 'love/hate' bit that turns them on the MC, is like so: 0110xx00xx Actually that won't help, since there are several like it. Try looking for this pattern: 00xx0xx00x
The middle one is the important one. Change the 2nd x to a 0 and you'll start to see some changes. Careful though, it took me 3 image dumps before I actually saw results, I had to reconnect the drive really carefully. One of the guys in this secret xbox hacker forum I found (google's kul, aight?) said the best thing to do is get some olive-oil and grease the pins on the connector for the HD. It makes it better able to handle the constant pluggin and unplugging. Hell, I don't want to have to pay M$ more money for another Xbox, right? I had to beg my parents for the money of the one I have now. Hella suks! I think at the end, we'll have to have 2 hard drives, 2 chips and a special controller made so you can toggle the 'defeat checksum' code in the chips. THe first hard drive is for the modified save games on the regular xbox hd, the second drive is the dvd-image of the hacked dvd, and the 2 chips 1 is to allow the mod, the second is to pump up the graphics, because once you setup the cheat, you need the faster graphics overloader, and did you hear about that guy SiliC64-haxxor? He said he found a spot on the DVD where the flamethrower is! Mb we can release those beauties (what am I? talking about girl breasts mb?! lol) to the world! Another guy said he used an old Atari controller to toggle da cheatz! Finally I can do something with that stuff!!!! I am king of the soldering guns! You and me JAson, we're the coolest! | |
