In Response To: Ride a Banshee to the Bottom of Halo (FrogBlast) : Remove a banshee pilot's AI then he is hovering slowly downwards : (like when he kills a player and hangs around the body, if it is possible : to "freeze his AI" like this) and push him to the cliff edge and : ride him down. : That idea is Copyright Frogblast Grenade Blasting Co. 2002 ;P "hey, he stole my kill!" ;-} OK, share 'n' share alike. my initial idea was virtually the same as FB's -- take a frozen banshee to the edge & ride it down. the problems is, as i stated a little down the threadlist, that the pilots seem to freeze with the accelerator active, which means that once in an open area, they skitter all over the place; getting one to a mesa edge with any control is unlikely. hence the inquiry about prying the elite out. however, a co-op team with two hogs may have better success (i've been working solo in co-op mpde). perhaps as FB mentions freezing it at exactly the right moment could be a possiblity. hmmm...
