In Response To: OK, We all need to calm down (the greg) I am frustrated because MS is saying they won't distribute it anyway. I would be happy with a demo, just get a demo out....that would be simply awesome. I'd be able to go through that for a while and I would save every penny. But they won't do that, they won't even SAY anything...just "soon". Well soon is a relative term. It's been 8 months, and I believe it took only 7 months for Croteam to develop Serious Sam the second encounter, which is interesting.....they had a functional codebase, had to come up with about %60 of the textures from scratch, not to mention %45 of the playermodels had to be made from scratch, in addition to new weapons and sounds, and a plethora of new textures....and all we hear from Bungie on a PORT, using VERY functional codebase considering the Xbox is x86 powered, and the renderer was designed on a Mac initially....if an MS guy even remotely heard any news or progress we'd have something alot more substantial than "we haven't started on it, but we want to" well wanting and doing are different things "Do or do not, there is no try" sound FAMILIAR!?! | |
