Coriolis Force Explained

Basically, coriolis force is a rotational thing. Say you are facing one of the ring's walls and you throw a rock. While you and the ring keep spinning along, the rock is freed a bit from the ring's spin, so it appears to drift to the left or right depending upon which way the ring is spinning.
