When you're very, very bored...
Posted By: Mark Levin <haveblue@mac.com>Date: 1/16/02 7:51 p.m.

This is what you get when you use the sniper rifle's zoom at outrageously short range. The detail in this game... Unbelievable.

Frag grenades: "AP FRAG" "HGR" "LOT 02 DN 71"

Pistol: A strange symbol on the bottom of the magazine.

Shotgun: "IN" on the side of the barrel (or possibly this is just scuff marks). The standard power-button symbol (circle with vertical line) on the thing you use to cock it (yeah, I'm the local gun expert :P ) On the shell insertion port: "VOITA" (?)

Assault rifle: The ammo count and compass still work when the weapon is lying on the ground (fire a few shots and throw it around a bit).

Sniper rifle: The animated display in the scope is still running, but I believe the little green bit to the left is not present when the weapon is held.

Rocket launcher: "SPNKr" "M41 SSR" "MAV/AV". An arrow pointing along the barrel. "ATTENTION: HOLD LIKE THIS" and a diagram of a stick figure holding the weapon properly. On what appears to be part of the reloading mechanism is "PUSH".

Jeep: The dashboard features an animated radar display, something that is probably meant to be an overhead map (it moves when you accelerate, but not when driving), and a working digital speedometer. It also has two screens which display bars that grow when driving and vanish when idling. There is a small box where the windshield meets the hood that says "A0".

Tank: There is a picture of a (real) scorpion on the sides of the back of the turret. Also, the hood has "030569".
