No no no... just get in the Passenger seat, not the Gunner seat, and look to your left... you'll see all the instruments as the other player drives.

The map, by the way, will move as long as you are moving... but when you stop, it rewinds or resets to the place that it started on when you were looking at it while not moving...

A friend was playing CoOp with me and he elected to let a Marine do the Auto-Shooting in the Gunner Seat so he could lob nades and sniper the Covies... but he looked down on me driving and thought it funny how I bounced around and such... then we focused on figuring out the entire system inside the jeep... just looking at all the cool guages and such.
