Cortana is reacting to what MC does. If MC kills Keyes, then Cortana assumes that he went crazy. The AI equivalent of crazy (arguably) is rampant.

Im not sure if any readers of TFoR can back me up, but it's pretty clear that the human governs MC's suit....not an AI.

However, I believe that Cortana is Rampant...and we all know that she has the ability to control the MJOLNIR armor. But we'll have to wait until H2.
