No, this is good feedback. Also, RE this:

I never wanted this to become my opinion of canon vs everyone else's. This was always intended to be something that a lot more of HBO participated in, so that it would require minimum input from myself. So far, everyone has only commented on the artwork from the more talented individuals (which, again, is not the focus), and has left the analysis of the adherance to canon up to me.

I would be more than willing to try a round where there is no reward and see if anything turns out differently, but I'm unsure of how that would go.
