1. Click to read seems to make each comment more important, since you have to initiate action to read it thus investing some sense of time. On reddit I skim past them, but on HBO I tend to read, and skip the subthreads that don't seem interesting.

2. You can always keep your mouse over the 'next' link and just click that way. I learned this not too long ago.

3. I think it's cleaner without the text of the post in the visible thread.
