The problem I have with CG : characters is that I can tell they're CG. They've gotten better over the : years, but I still think nothing beats a real life model. Well of course I'd LOVE to see real covies, but often when movies have aliens, it's either really hard to get the movement right, or the mecha-tronics (I think that's the right word) just plain suck. Add to that the extreme size of the elites and the proportions of the grunts/jackals/hunters would be hard to do them justice with real costumes. (A perfect example being the elite roll or the hoppy jog of the grunt plasma grenade "hug". I would like to see it, I just don't think it would look as good as some good CG, even though you and I both know it's CG.
