It seems to me that we're making a major leap from the definition of MMO used in the document to "it's an MMO." I am doubtful. The document indicates that it will use mechanics from MMOs. I am expecting something more like a shooter version of Diablo 3 or Demon's Souls than an actual MMO. It defies belief that Activision and Bungie would have elected to enter the WoW business model in 2010, with free to play already on the rise - and entering that model today seems insane. In short: I don't think that "it's an MMO" in the sense of WoW, Tera, TOR, or the like, whether monthly fee or FTP. I do expect an "always online" experience with more seamless, contextual multiplayer & mission structure rather than the typical 9 act Halo game.
