It's, well, generic, : and 343i can do better. I feel the same way. More so for the sake of the Elites, but Grunts too. I'm coming around to the shape of the mouth, and even the toes don't bother me, but that skin design... It's just... appalling. :/ I like the Locust horde for what it is: Gross roid-raged underground mutant beasts. The Covenant species have always had a certain elegance to them visually, however. Even Brutes had it. These Grunts (and their Elite masters) look like they all grew up in the dungeons of some hellish Covenant penal colony. I can't help but think "Space Pirates" every time I look at the pictures we have, which is a vibe the Covenant should never give off.
