(SEspider) : A good portion of 343i's staff came from Bungie and the rest pretty much : begged to be on the team because of their love for Halo, it's stories, and : it's MP tools. I think you might be caricaturing 343i there a bit to justify your incredulousness... I of course, like pretty much all the rest of us fans, am not familiar with the ins and outs of 343i, their staff, or how they selected them, but I personally only know of two former Bungie employees that work there now, and besides an interest in Halo, their team was likely selected for their talent and experience in making a video game.
