Saved films, IMHO, were never good for Machinima makers, as anyone serious about Machinima would be better off investing in a capture card. I think the people most affected by this are the players that just want to share fun film clips of cool stuff that happened in matchmaking every now and again. That is a lot of people, but I can't justify hating on 343 for killing film rendering. Bungie is a tough act to follow.. My bigger concern, as I posted on my website, is the web fileshare blackout. For an undetermined amount of time, it will be practically impossible to share Forge content except in custom parties. That could really hurt the Forge community if that "short period" is not so short after all..
