Why do they : need cars if they can outrun motorcycles and dudes with jetpacks? Hiring Monty was probably the worst thing to happen to the series. When RvB first started they had to rely on writing to carry the series. Now they cram a bunch of mindless action into half of every episode (or sometimes the entire episode). It's like the series got taken over by a B-tier Michael Bay. What Monty does is impressive on a technical level, but it just comes across as stupid now, and not in the "stupid fun" way that RvB used to be.
