Bungie cut corners (may have ben necessary, but anyway) and have a single texture file with most of the military logos on it and it gets used on EVERYTHING in Reach whether it makes sense or not. Because they did this in this game: -the anti-air turrets near Sword Base have the rocket launcher (SPNKr) logo and the Gungnir company name (Galilean) on them -the Mongooses have the Warthog's designation (M/AAV-20) on them instead of their own (M/LAT-16) -the forklifts has the Gungnir Spartan Laser logo on them -the Scorpions have Jorge's Spartan designation on them (S-052) -and because of a lack of space on said texture ALL characters in Reach have either A+, B+, or O+ blood types (this even creates a discrepancy in Jorge who has B+ blood according to his armor, but A+ according to his dog tags -the Sabres have the trooper helmet chevron's on them That's a small sample of what I could recall from memory.
