In Response To: Re: Like Bornstellar's personality changed? (jarsp) : I thought that that evolution of character was one of the highlights of : Cryptum. For me it made Bornstellar less dislikeable, amongst other : things. :( up to you I guess. Why did you come to dislike him less after Didact took over his body? My impression was that Bornstellar didn't realize that he was going to become an ex-person when he agreed to the mutation. D: may have known, I suspect that L: knew exactly what would happen. (His replacement was too pat. Either it was planned by a character in the book, in which case L: is the most likely candidate, or it was the author who dunnit.) So if Bornstellar knew that he was sacrificing his personality so that D: could take him over then maybe you can admire his sacrifice and dislike him less. If he was an innocent dupe then maybe you can pity him and therefore dislike him less. Or you could just rejoice that he's gone and therefore dislike him less. But what is your reason?
