In Response To: RL jobs (0postmortem0) Right now I design components for HVACR systems. Stuff like industrial chillers, air conditioning systems for stores and office buildings, and the frozen food sections of grocery stores. Before that I was a manufacturing engineer for a company that made car parts for Ford, GM, Nissan, and Chrysler. If your floormats ever burst into flames, that's probably my fault. Before that I lived on a boat and worked on oil rigs all over the Gulf of Mexico. I was a frac engineer, but I like to tell the ladies I specialized in well stimulation. I was also doused in so many crazy chemicals that I will probably die before I'm sixty or grow a third arm. Before that I did miscellaneous engineering project work for a couple of companies while I was in college. When I was a teenager I managed a feed warehouse at a coop and hauled soybeans, fertilizer, and pesticides all over Arkansas. I also worked on our family farm where we raised cattle, laying hens (think of those chicken farmers in Napoleon Dynamite), table grapes, and blueberries. I've pretty much been working at something since I was 4 or 5 years old.
