In Response To: Modernized weapons in CEA? (Rockslider) so that's why the sound is different. Given that they've explicitly stated that gameplay is not changing, I believe it is not changing. I imagine the fact that the additional terminals have been added is akin to an aesthetic addition that has nothing to do with gameplay and they won't show up in the classic mode when you hit the back button.
