I suspect that what we are seeing is fairly scripted. That is they dumped some ideas in and let it fly without a lot of input. I think the LASO challenges we are seeing represent a couple hours of someone’s time to sit down and program them into the system. I suspect that once 343i is at the helm they make take a hard look at the current setup of challenges and roll out their own. Maybe I'm a bit cynical but I suspect that it may in part be deliberate. That is, Bungie honestly doesn’t have a lot of time, but they know 343i at some point will be taking over. So they keep low key on the challenges – enough of a tease (LASO) to keep people interested. When 343i takes over they update/revamp the challenges and everybody goes ‘Yay 343i is awesome! – I’m glad they’re in charge!’. Makes for a nice cut over strategy at least. Of course I could be completely off base. ;)
