The system you describe is very much the one I'd like to see used in Reach, and for future Halo titles, and seems like the best way to go about it as that enables designers to come up with new ideas post-ship. The main reason I question the flexibiilty is because of how limited the Challenges have been to date. They fall pretty neatly into categories and don't deviate from them at all. So either the system isn't flexible, with just certain parameters that can be adjusted (kill count, credits paid), or there hasn't been much time put into crafting more a more diverse set. In either instance, I hope things either improve with Reach, or with the next go round. I love the system - I'm a sucker for dangling carrots - and want nothing more than for it to be used as effectively as possible. : Hey Ghaleon, great read!
