I remember when Bungie stated that Halo 3's MA5C would act very differently to the original MA5B and i'm glad they didn't market it as such. I loved that rifle and usually had it alongside a BR55HB SR or a M90A CAWS. However, the disappointment came when they tried to compare Reach's MA37 to the venerable MA5B. Such a let down in the Reach Beta and rarely did I use it throughout the course of the final game.

While I know that any remake of Halo: Combat Evolved will change drastically from the 2001 original, one of the only things I pray for is a worthy and honorable return of my favorite weapon from the franchise. :)
