In Response To: Re: Halo Wars sexism - frigid Anders (scarab) : I think I saw a deleted scene where she saw Regret use the teleporter. It was : when he returned to his ship. Where/how did I see that? I don't think that : I just dreamt it. C'mon, now, don't think the Halo Wars 'writers' deserve /that/ much credit. On reflection, Serena was my favorite character in Halo Wars, even though I had her pegged as a lifeless imitation of Cortana. It's her lines that endeared her to me; it doesn't take too much imagination to picture her as MSTing the whole game. * "Recalling surface squads so we can all die together. Aye, sir!" * "So...we left a note saying we're leaving, right?" * "Aye sir. Crazy mystery trip to Arcadia plotted in, spinning up FTL drive." * "Threading a needle while accelerating around an exploding star inside a planet that's falling apart? Sure, why not?" * "So...am I the only one freaked out by the fact that we're inside the planet?" * "ECHO signs are offline - quite suddenly I might add." (Note: Seeing as how ECHO was screaming for about five seconds...) And hey, she could have ended up just as visually sexualized as Cortana.
