Hopefully not as bad as the Pelican bit =p (for the average joe at least).
That was really just aimed at a different kind of audience though with the airshow feel, I knew it was never really going to be for everyone. Or the whole thing itself with the general lack of boom, which is partly what this was to address.

Probably would have been exhausting to keep it an entirely hectic pace all the way through. Granted it is long, longer than I intended. I didn't want to just rattle straight through the 'interviews', then have action, then the intro kind of seemed neccessery. It just grew and grew.

Its absolutely self indulgent and to my own tastes, I'll admit that from the start, so that's why its a bit of a slower build up to the finale with music kicking in.
Top Gear doesn't always have a hyperactive camera. =)
My fav parts tend to be the challenges rather than the car reviews.

Otherwise, its not the most flexible part of the game to work with.
The fly-cam is too slow, even on the fastest settings, to really keep up with the flying, which makes a dynamic chase view difficult. Pan-cam isn't an option for a video capture because the screen is covered in numbers (hell, some of the shots in the last part have been sped up in editing, and I cut a lot that was just a bit too mundane as I tweaked it).
So basically did the best with my limited ability and the tools available.
I'd have loved if I could attach the camera to different parts of the fighters, like if one was mounted on the wing tip or tail, like in the cut scenes.
I'd have also loved if I could have taken control of the Seraphs and Banshee's to make them far more dynamic and have scenes of them chasing Sabres, then throw in some cuts and edits to make it looks like they'd been outmanoeuvred and destroyed.
