Your blip is still on the radar. It's just harder to notice because of the fake blips. You don't ruin radar for your teammates, it only jams your own radar and the radar of enemy players near you. This was done to help prevent griefing and encourage teamwork-oriented people to not skip AC. It was buggy in the beta, as it sometimes (or all of the time, can't remember) would jam your teammate's radar.
