In Response To: Exploration v Expansion (GrimBrother One) : Any idea when we will begin to see more true expansion? Especially : "forward", post-H3 expansion. I read that one of the Halo Evo : stories will begin to deal with post H3 culture (which I'm totally stoked : about), but I know I would like to see an even broader view of the : universe in the days/months/years that followed. Have you read the Encyclopedia? It has some of that, but it's kind of incoherent. Apparently as of 2610+ the "Great War" is over, the Chief and the GoO cast are still missing, and the UNSC is in talks with the Sangheili for information on their technology, but at the same time all the information on the Covenant is in the present tense, implying they're still around? Also, Myras Tyla is still a pop star at age 80+, the Believe ads are canon, and the UNSC knows tons of things they shouldn't, like that John said "Wake me when you need me" and that the GoO cast are on a Shield World.
