In Response To: Bobs don't drive? (DeAdLy_cOoKiE) We've seen Covenant driving/flying vehicles, but their sole purpose is to eliminate Human troops they spot. A Marine AI has a few different objectives to worry about if they are allowed to drive vehicles while you operate the mounted-weaponry. A driving Marine would have to reach a destination, but also dodge Covenant fire as best he can without being able to attack them himself. On his way to this desitnation, say he spots a Covenant force which is too much for you to take down. Would he stop? Drive away? Continue on his way to the destination into certain death? Those kinds of decisions tell me it would be very difficult to implement a useful AI Marine Driver in the midst of combat. : What about flying banshee's, driving ghosts? : It's all scripted?
