In Response To: More on GameCritics (Dan Rudolph)

Well everyone is entitled to their opinion ^_^

I can understand a lot of people's feelings though...

I remember when Capcom first announced BioHazard(aka Resident Evil) 2
and released a host of screens and movies only to later trash all their
old work and start from scratch on it.

When I finally got it later even though it looked nicer it was missing
some of the cooler sounding features but it soured the experience...

Same thing happened with me and Oni as well. The first renderings I saw
of it at E3 in Atlanta(like 3-4 years ago) was thoroughly impressive.
Yet when I finally sat down with the game I just couldn't get into it
despite an impressive animation and fighting system...it just didn't
compare to Guardian heroes or Rakugaki Showtime...

Now despite all this I still am very interested in Halo. I understand things
change which is why I applaud their media blackout. ^_^

Hell I was suprised to even see that deathmatch is in the game? I recall a
Alex S. quote(or maybe it was another Bungie honcho type) that read, "Fuck deathmatch."

Hey I was super impressed they abandon the lame FPS convention in favor of
third person action but I have yet to try the game yet. Maybe it's for the best?!

One can hope. Hopefully Freewill will do another NY Bungie Fest and I will go
and hopefully try Halo out...the controller definitely does worry me but whatever. I thought the Gamecube controller wwas going to be an atrocity yet all indications, from friends who were at E3, are that it's the best thing since apple pie.

Then again they like Mario and Zelda. I hate Mario and Zelda. ^o^

We'll see what Halo holds. It certainly has some of the coolest enviro, weapons design I've seen in abit(minor technical issues about the weapons aside that is ^_^)

Ahhh enough ranting.
