"The Xbox was very nearly the complete and polar opposite of
the Cube, featuring a type of throwback excess in place of
utilitarian elegance. Number one, it was HUGE. It will fully take
up an entire shelf on the game rack next to my TV, and the
controller wasn’t exactly petite, either. Coming from the
American perspective that "bigger is better," I can see the logic
behind making it so large, but in truth it was a little obscene."

A common myth about Americans is that they are stupid?
I don't like Microsofts mice either, I prefer those small ps2 mice from Logitech

"Picking up the controller, I was definitely not liking the feel of
things. First of all, it has one of those wonky green "Xbox" eyes
right in the middle of it. It serves no purpose, and it took up
too much space. I read another site that described the
controller as "holding two fat sausages with a dinner plate in
the middle," and I’ll be damned if that isn’t the most effective
way of describing it."

I don't see the purpose of the 'back' button either.

domestic Saturn controller, in a way. I’ll need to spend more
time with it to be sure, but the brief bit I spent with it at E3
did not leave me feeling very positive."

Somehow this guy has the same feeling about the controller as I'm having... And I haven't even touched it yet. How I love people that are being honest!

I've read about Halo as well, I won't make any comments other than that I have seen the movies which I did like! Perhaps Brad liked it?
