On Halo 2, it was pretty much unavoidable that you would have played Halo 1 (and all of us did.) : Based on the feel of halo 3, it sure felt like the team played a lot more : Halo 1 for inspiration. Halo 2 gave us perspective enough to appreciate some elements of Halo 1 that had been misplaced. You know the saying, you never appreciate what you've got until it's gone.
