If they heard the cries of the map makers, why would they have made this area bottomless? Why force us to go through all the trouble of creating our own floors? Seems to me that if they'd really heard the map makers and agreed that we needed a big empty space in which to create whatever we'd like, then they'd just give us a map called "Plateau" consisting of a large, open, empty space and imbued with all the possible forgable items yet conceived and with a substantial budget.
