There's an easier solution

I modified the map only slightly by adding another deployable cover and removing the custom powerup. The second cover I added was on top of the bridge, so I still had to make the jump anyways (in the video, I point out where the cover would have come from if I had the finesse to grab it). And then I go to the ending. It's not the fastest solution, but it's quicker if you're going by events like: jump into grav lift, grab grenade, grab sword, etc.
