In Response To: Top 5 Maps That Should Be Remade (evildoctorwill) My opinion of course (second time writing this. Stupid Opera closing tabs for no reason) #1 Chill Out This one I only agree because it didn't depend on fall damage. #2 Midship Over played, too small for Halo 3, too campable. They should start living with the fact that Snowbound is much superior. #3 Prisoner Depended on fall damage to work. Non-starter. And did they seriously suggest using teleporters for balance? #4 Colossus Not without a new weapons layout and a spawn engine not programmed by Bungie. #5 Warlock Too small, slayer was unbalanced, only fun with Neutral Flag and we don't have that in Halo 3 for some reason. I also like how they say they want to return it to "a powerup per base", but that would just be silly. I much preferred the center overshield. They do remember that a team actually spawns in each side, right? Now imagine each team getting one overshield. Yeah, the initial battles will always be stupid that way. their honorable mentions: Damnation - can't work, no fall damage Lockout - hello, Guardian Rat Race - could work, but would it be interesting on Xbox Live? Beaver Creek - unless Bungie can find a way to make it work without porters.. no. My preferred list of free map remakes because hell if I'm paying for them again after they screwed up Hang 'em High: Terminal a map in the setting of Turf (just use Outskirts from Halo 2. Pelican - defense, Hotel Zanzibar - offense) Headlong Coagulation Relic (why did they remove this from Team Skirmish)
