Honestly, if there's a sound there it doesn't play for me... Ibeechu is right, it's more like ambient sound. They don't play when you jump through the rings. The rings just emit an ambient tone when you're standing near them. It's pretty bass heavy, so you might need to have your volume turned up to listen. Try standing next to one ring, then hum the noise you hear, and then go to another and you'll notice it's a different tone.
