(Avateur) : Credz to Menelven for pointing this out to me! : http://www.gamersyde.com/stream_4291_en.html Although I don't mean to detract in any way from the stunning visual style, and I think Neil has a lot more going on as a director than just visuals ("Alive in Joburg" is amazing and inventive, everyone should watch it, if they haven't already), I don't think this means that the Halo movie would be awesome. We all love Halo because of its compelling story, and it's not obvious from these shorts that Neil is capable of good storytelling, directing actors well, rendering emotion and pathos, etc. Of course, given that the Transformers movie got made as only a litany of explosions, I'm not sure that Hollywood producers care about those other elements anyway - but WE should, so I will remain skeptical until I see the film!
