In Response To: Slipspace Animation (jtdoepke)

: Anyone notice how all Halo ship animations seem to be done in Lightwave?

: Anyway, here's a slipspace animation concept I've been working on for human
: ships. Opinions?

: [ local copies added now: QuickTime | WMP9 -lwu ]

The rippling effect should be affecting the light travelling from beyond the actual ship itself. In other words, the stars beyond should appear to be rippling too where it visibly passes through the affected area.

The lens flare isn't part of the actual effect.. If you want to add it later, than by all means.. but for "checking out" the effect, it'd be nice to be able to actually SEE the effect.

It all looks cool so far though.
