: You would be watching as a member of an audience and not as a participant. I'm not sure about the last part. I think it would be pretty great to see some of the awesome campaign-players in third person. That being said, I think you and Narc are right that campaign needs to be different. The saved films (if there ARE saved films for campaign) need to be restricted to first person view or a few, close third person views. Otherwise, in addition to losing some of the incentive for tricking, you could just park the MC somewhere and then use the camera to look ahead on the level to see what's coming up, and where the enemies are hiding, and the like. So, in summary: MP: free-moving fly-anywhere camera.
