In Response To: No (mnemesis) : It seems to me that tricking was usually all about the methods for getting : somewhere, or making some odd things happen in-game. Being able to see the : view from anywhere might even spur more tricking - "I found this : cool platform way up high. I wonder if I can get the MC up there?" : Imagine if somebody does an elaborate grenade launch to the top of a tower,
Dunno. Having a camera that would allow us to look at anything, anywhere in a campaign map would probably NOT be positive to me (us). Much of the fun of exploration is wondering if you'll find something cool. Personally, I'd love to have folks finding new eggs and cool spots years after the release of Halo 3. I know that's a stretch, but I'd love it. The best Bungie present to me would be a wholesale return to the physics of Halo 1. I'd love to see them absolutely trash the unreal engine and go back to the way it used to be. To me, there is absolutely NO improvement in physics in Halo 2. The physics just seemed all wrong, and I'd love to have the same old bouncy warthog back, the same grenade physics, the same shield physics, everything. Sorry if I just trampled some of the syrup left on the floor where the dead horse used to be. That wasn't my intent. I'm just thinking that the best way to enhance my enjoyment of Halo 3 campaign is to make that campaign be Halo 1 X 1000 (instead of Halo 1 / 3.14 * .543 % 2). :) JH
