One note about the location of the various HUD items is that Bungie should make sure not to put anything in the bottom center of the screen (not that anything was there in the other Halo games, but other games have put stuff there) because that's where the 360 puts the notices when Friends come online and stuff. It's annoying when information is obscured by the notices.
