In Response To: Explain your name *OT* (jdogmoney) GryphonOsiris, broken down becomes Gryphon, the half eagle/half lion Chimera that was a symbol of duality, and Osiris, Egyptian God of Death, murdered by his brother Setesh, resurrected by his wife Isis. Now, why these two? First, my personal Crest is the golden Gryphon over a black field with the center third a white stripe. It is a symbol of my dual nature of calm, quiet and passive normally but when in a fight (Halo PC or fencing bout) agressive, ruthless and unrelenting. Osiris because like the Egyptian legend, I had a rebirth of character after a personal inner struggle. I would have used just Gryphon, but it was taken. Now you know Honor and Valor Gryphon
