In Response To: Re: Update- *long* - *HGN SPOILERS* (Bry) You have many good points Bry, I was trying to point out the Chief's human side only. Even with the armour and augments, the John was reaching the ends of his limits during the Library lvl. It just shows that their are limits even to the Spartans (even death) :-0, :-| Speaking of which, I found the "Armour Testing" story very interesting ( especially the end where we see the face of a Spartan, Maria-062, for the first time ( Ok, OK I know what your going to say Bry, we got some of their discribtions in the novels, even John's, who we saw in The flood novel). I've read some of the other post talking about " how unbelieveable that a spartan retires to rasie a family? Can they eeven have kids,2.1's :-}. I find that part brings the human element to the readers of HGN and tells us more about being a Spartan (Thought I believe that Maria is cassandra from the conversation from the universe booklet or another Spartan we haven't been introduced to)
