I recently got a copy of Halo 1 because i lost my original copy and knew that it ws pretty good. Anyway, I eased through the first level in about 5-10 minutes, realizing how much of a change there was/is between H1 and H2(Melees=10x faster, Plas.Pistol=1/2 second to charge, move faster i think, 2 melees to back doesn't kill,etc)
anyway, i started up the second level and something amazing happens.
At the very beginning, you come out of the crashed pod and have to make your way across the bridge. There are 2 banshees out that find you after the dropship passes. What happened is that one of the banshees started strafing runs at me and i started shooting back. It just started coming closer and closer until it finally hit the wall. this is the wierd part:
when it hit the wall, the elite pilot popped out dead and the banshee fell. I was all WTF?!?. I checked to make sure the elite was dead and checked on the banshee.
It said, Press X to flip Banshee.
I was WTFOMGBBQ!! i was so amazed to be able to get banshee so early.
But the banshee was behind a huge rock next to the wall, and i dropped in under the banshee, so when i flipped it I died and never got the chance to do it again, nor have i tried it again, but you guys should!
